Protection and Confidentiality of Nonpublic Personal Information
We are providing this notice as required by the Federal Financial Privacy Law and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

We limit access to nonpublic customer information about you to our employees who need to know that information for us to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

Nonpublic personal information means personal financial information about you that we collect in connection with providing you with a financial product or service that is not made publicly available.

Categories of Nonpublic Personal Information We May Collect
When appropriate in conducting business, we may collect nonpublic information about customers from a variety of sources:
  • Information the customer has provided on applications or other forms
  • Information about the customer's transactions with us, our affiliates or others
  • Information we may obtain from consumer credit reporting agencies
  • Information from third parties such as employment verification and property insurance coverage
Categories of Nonpublic Personal Information We May Disclose
Unless you tell us not to, we are permitted by the Fair Credit Reporting Act to share non-public personal information with our affiliates owned or under common control by BankTennessee and any other entities organized after this publication.

We may also share the nonpublic personal information described above with:
  • Non-financial companies such as data storage companies, check printers, and check processors;
  • Companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions or financial service providers with whom we have joint marketing agreements or operate as dual employees. These companies are contractually prohibited from using information for any purpose other than as we have asked and are required to keep this information confidential. We do not sell nonpublic information to telemarketers;
  • Non-affiliated third parties as permitted by law or as directed by you.
We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our former customers to any party, except as permitted by law.

"Opt Out" Right
If you prefer that we not share credit reports and other non-public personal information with our affiliates nor share nonpublic information about you with non-affiliated third parties, you may opt out of these disclosures, that is you may direct us not to make these disclosures (other than as permitted by law). You may not "opt out" of disclosures when permitted by law, such as in response to a subpoena, when shared in order to service or process transactions in your account, when shared with consumer credit reporting agencies or when transactions or account experiences are shared among affiliates.

If you wish to "opt out" of information sharing that is not allowed by law, please call 1-866-414-1170 within 30 days of receiving this disclosure. If you have more than one account, your request will automatically apply to all your accounts with us. Also, if there is more than one person on your account, a request by one person will apply to all persons on your account(s).
