Make The Switch to BankTennessee in 2 easy steps!
  • Step One: Tell us a few things about yourself and your old bank.


  • Step Two: Tell us a little bit about the companies that make electronic transactions to your account and create letters that you can send to the companies* that make electronic transactions to your account. Then bring your letters to the bank, and let us mail them for you! Or better yet, bring your information with you when you come to open your new BankTennessee account, and we'll help you complete the forms! (Link to Free Adobe Download)

Just a few hints to keep in mind:

  • Make sure that you leave enough money at your old bank to cover any checks or electronic entries that have not cleared yet.


  • Once all of your outstanding items have cleared your old account and your electronic items have started coming out of your new BankTennessee account, you will need to close your old bank account using the letter we have provided in the switch kit.





    • *PLEASE NOTE: Some companies will require you to use and sign their forms
