Carrie Holmes Is Hired as a Teller
MEMPHIS, Tenn., January 24, 2019 – President and Chief Executive Officer Jim Rout at BankTennessee announced that Carrie Holmes joined BankTennessee in 2018 as a teller.
“Carrie worked with us several years ago, and we welcome her back to our team. She has a true commitment to helping our customers with their financial needs,” said Rout.
Holmes was most recently an inventory control analyst and logistics coordinator for Johnson & Johnson/FedEx. From 2006 to 2008, she worked at BankTennessee as a teller and was later promoted to head teller.
She earned an associates degree in arts from Northwest Community College and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi. At Northwest, she was a Phi Theta Kappa member and was on the President’s and Dean’s list at both schools. She earned a leadership award from Johnson & Johnson/FedEx for implementing better research practices to handle customer issues and an Encore Award for backfilling a crucial role. Recognized also for her sales ability, she received a Star Employee Award at BankTennessee.
Active in the community, she is a volunteer tutor and an active PTA member at her son’s school. Holmes is also a Sunday School teacher and a Boy Scouts den mother.
Holmes lives in Byhalia, Mississippi with her son, Quentin.
The East Memphis office is located at 5540 Poplar Avenue at Yates.
