“We are excited to promote Britt to this new position for our bank. With his experience, he will continue to be a great asset to our customers and the bank,” said Rout. “We appreciate his dedication and service to our bank and look forward to working with Britt for many more years.”
“As a BankTennessee universal banker, he helps build relationships with customers by opening new accounts, any necessary teller work as well as answer any questions,” Rout added. “As bank customers are increasingly turning to their phones and tablets, rather than a physical bank branch for routine transactions, we are re-evaluating the way we do business. The universal banker model is one way we are adapting to changing customer behavior. Universal bankers can do it all — not only are they tellers, but they are also trained for other activities like opening new accounts and personally serving our customers needs.”
