Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible to open a Community Champions Checking Account you must be a U.S. military service member or veteran, current or retired law enforcement, firefighter, EMT, health care worker or educator and have a direct deposit of payroll into this account. Customer will have a choice of local non-profits to receive the donation. The donation will be made within 30 days after receiving your first direct deposit of at least $250. Promotion is available on up to 500 accounts and is subject to change without notice. The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) for Community Champions Checking is 0.30% and is current as of March 20, 2026. Rate may change without notice. Fees may reduce earnings. All deposit accounts are subject to the terms and conditions of the BankTennessee Deposit Agreement.
